Application Object Library (AOL)
Course Description
Oracle Applications are constructed and maintained using Application Object Library (AOL). Applications system administrators use AOL to manage applications security, establish operating profiles and administer concurrent processing. In this course you will learn to manage applications security, administer the concurrent processing facility, establish operating profiles. The security function helps system administrators control access to business functions using menus and responsibilities. The trainees will be able to create and audit the application users and establish report security groups in AOL.
Course Objectives:
· | To be able to describe the common functions that the Oracle Applications modules share - Flex fields, Security, Menus. |
· | To Explore Oracle’s Concurrent Processing environment, and learn how to set up request groups and request sets, as well as how to submit concurrent requests or concurrent request sets through the Standard Request Submission (SRS) form. |
